VAULT DOOR INSTALLATION
Installing your vault door in Texas is easy. Simply, build your opening 3/8" taller and wider than the vault door you choose from our website. For example, if you like our 80" x 36" x 8" vault door, build your opening 80 3/8" tall x 36 3/8" wide x 8" deep. Once your vault is inserted into the opening, make sure it's level. Then mark the 12 - 5/8" holes on the frame directly onto your concrete or wood opening. Then secure the vault door to your concrete or wood by drilling in 12 red-head bolts or lag-bolts. After the vault is secured to your wall, squeeze fireproof caulking into the space between your frame and wall. If you live in Texas and have more questions regarding your vault door's installation, call us at 800-266-7150.
