VAULT DOOR INSTALLATION
Installing your vault in Georgia is easy. Simply, build your opening 3/8" taller and wider than the vault door you choose from our website. For example, if you love our 80" x 30" x 8" vault door, build your opening 80 3/8" tall x 30 3/8" wide x 8" deep. Once your vault door is inserted into it's opening, make sure it's level. Then mark the 12 holes on the frame directly onto your concrete or wood opening. Then secure the vault door to your wall by drilling 12 - red-head bolts or lag-bolts into your wall. After your vault door is bolted in, squeeze several tubes of fireproof caulking into the space between your frame and wall. If you live in Georgia and have more questions about our U.S.-made vault doors, call us.
